About Shoreline Press
In 2020, Angela Leuck purchased Shoreline Press of Ste. Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec, from founder and owner, Judith Isherwood, and moved it to her home in Hatley in Quebec’s Eastern Townships. Prior to 2020, Shoreline had published over 200 books ranging from memoir to detective fiction and from education to poetry. Among these were Leuck’s own first two anthologies: Sun Through the Blinds: Montreal Haiku Today, with co-editor Maxianne Berger, and Tulip Haiku. In working closely with Isherwood on these publications, Leuck got to know firsthand the operations of the press and its longstanding practice of working with interns who learn the art of publishing “on the job”. Leuck looks forward to continuing this fine tradition.
